Cabaret is a vast and diverse land. It takes much to distinguish oneself amid it. Bruno Giraldi distinguishes himself not just through his talent, but his introspective and humble nature. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, his artistic journey is deeply intertwined with his unique upbringing, and his work, particularly his current show “Love Or Death?”, reflects a profound exploration of identity, suffering, and the human condition.

Giraldi was born on October 28, 1987, into a nation still reeling from the political and social aftermath of the “Dirty War” (1970s-1980s). This period was marked by state terrorism, human rights violations, and a deep-seated factionalism, culminating in events like the April 1987 military mutiny launched by the “Carapintadas” just months before his birth.

Growing up in this environment of uncertainty and societal upheaval appears to have instilled in Giraldi a critical perspective on fixed truths and a resistance to conventional narratives.
